Patrick AFB, and Associated Facilities, Spill Response Planning

| The PCCI / EnSafe joint venture (Petroleum Partners) is conducting oil spill prevention and response readiness site surveys at Patrick Air Force Base, Cape Canaveral Air Station, the Jonathan Dickinson Missile Tracking Annex, the Malibar Transmitter Annex, and associated facilities on Antigua and Ascension Island. These surveys include a review of all fuel storage, transportation and handling facilities at each of the sites to assess spill potential, validate engineering controls for spill prevention, establish spill response requirements and capabilities and develop spill response strategies. The results of these will then be used to perform revisions to the Facility Response Plans and the Spill Control and Countermeasures Plans |
