S.S. Jacob Luckenbach Oil Recovery

PCCI is a member of the Titan Maritime LLC Team providing services for the assessment, removal, and disposal of oil from the sunken vessel S.S. Jacob Luckenbach. The vessel, which sank on July 14, 1953, has been identified as a continuing source of discharge of oil into the Pacific Ocean offshore San Francisco, California.
It now rests in 176 feet of water PCCI has been providing engineering and naval architecture services to Titan LLC from the time the request for proposals was issued by the US Coast Guard. We have several engineers on-site providing offshore support for the assessment and oil removal operations. |
