USCG CATs-I Exercises

| PCCI, Inc. is supporting prime contractor John J. McMullen Associates, Inc. (JJMA) and the U.S. Coast Guard with the development of exercise plans, provision of exercise support, and post-exercise analysis for the Captains of the Port Advanced Technologies Integration (CATs-I) exercises in San Francisco, California and Miami, Florida. PCCI participated in the San Francisco Bay CATs-I Exercise on October 2, 2002. The exercise tested the new Common Situation Display System (CSDS), developed by the Coast Guard’s Research and Development Center; new technologies that allow for protected communications in the maritime environment; and a system to track friendly forces as they respond to an incident. The After Action Report of the exercise is being prepared by PCCI and will be used to develop the CATs-I Exercise in Miami, to take place next year. |
