PCCI, Inc., through its GPC joint venture, has been awarded the recompetition of the contract to provide technical services in support of the Navy`s Emergency Ship Salvage & Material (ESSM) program.  The purpose of this contract is to man and maintain Navy ESSM Salvage bases and complexes worldwide on a full-time basis; provide services and support for pollution control, spill response, salvage operations, and underwater ship husbandry; and maintain one of the world`s largest inventories of marine emergency equipment.  PCCI has provided engineering and technical management of this contract for the last 18 years.  Activities have included oil spill response equipment engineering and development.  Award of this five-year contract demonstrates the Navy`s continued satisfaction with GPC`s performance.
